Medela pumps use a special suction process that is comfortable and imitates the sucking of your child in a two stage process. The first phase is a rapid and short forceful vacuum and the second phase is a slower and longer vacuum. The suction is comfortable and leaves your nipples intact (this is not the case with all pumps – some pull and therefore cause your nipples to feel raw – as if they were plugged into the outlet and not the cord!). There is a provided button that allows you to adjust the suction speed for a faster generation that will produce the greater amount of milk.

While breast pumping is done conveniently in the comfort of homes, it may well be handy to have a machine that you can dangle around the house if you need to do other tasks. In this case, having a breast pump like Medela is an advantage. You can do multi tasking chores and even tend to your other kids at the same time

The pump is a little bit noisy, that is understandable because it had a powerful motor. You may find it a tad distracting if you’re making an attempt to work on one thing else at the similar time. Sometimes you have to muff it by putting it under the pillow. That is likely one of the solely significant downsides to the Medela Swing Pump.

But if you need to pump more than the usual, then a double pump like Medela's Pump in Style double electric can do you more good since it can cut the time it takes to breast pump in half.
